Mario and Luigi enter a video game world to find their missing father and a lost turtle. They face the challenges of a giant turtle king, Bowser, seeking power Stars, while dealing with pranks from Donkey Kong. Amidst this, Mario also tries to reach a castle while Bowser junior remains in a coma.
