Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant centers around US Army Sergeant John Kinley (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Afghan interpreter Ahmed (Dar Salim). Following an ambush, Ahmed selflessly rescues Kinley’s life. However, Kinley discovers that Ahmed’s family was not granted safe passage to the United States as initially assured.
